# Bible Verses About Prayer

Canonical page: https://lucernia.app/bible-verses/prayer/

The Bible's verses about prayer are invitations: ask, seek, knock, call. They promise that God hears, that the Spirit helps our weakness, and that honest prayer is welcome even when words are few.

## Overview

"Call unto me, and I will answer thee." From Hannah's tearful prayer to the Lord's Prayer and Paul's "pray without ceasing," Scripture treats prayer as ordinary conversation with a Father who listens.

If you do not know how to start, pray these verses back to God. Many Christians have learned to pray exactly that way — by borrowing the words of the Bible.
